For our sun awning system which already shades already around 600 (!) yachts worldwide in all configurations we developed the so-called "Tulip" – a very elegantly designed, non-dazzling lamp that shines in red, green, blue and white and can of course also be dimmed. The highlight of the "Tulip", however, is that it serves as an uplight that can be used to illuminate the awning or - turned by 180° with a flick of the wrist - to shine downwards and illuminate the floor. The milled aluminium body in which the LEDs are cast is waterproof to protection class IP 67. The "Tulip" draws energy from a rechargeable battery that only needs to be recharged after 16 hours.Mounting or dismounting the lamps is done in seconds. In addition to easy handling, the innovative multiplex product is characterised above all by a very long service life - the LEDs are designed for an operating time of 50,000 hours. It is always nice to see our products in action. At the Palma Superyacht Village we saw lots of multiflaps on the sailing yachts on display – even at the show's largest yacht.The multiflap is light, stable and resistant to deformation. It is also weather-proof, which means that neither wind nor seawater can cause any harm. With a weight of 4.4 kg per metre and a quick, simple fixing system, it can be mounted and dismounted by a single person. It was both a pleasure and an honor to support the Captain's Dinner of Estela Shipping Superyachts Agency. The Palma International Boat Show and the associated Palma Superyacht Village (April 25 to 28) are slowly becoming the focus of the international yachting industry. If you are looking for yachts between 20 and 40 meters in length to buy or charter, the show on the Baleraric island is one of the best in the world.
